Winter solstice viewing
at Vale Perkins wharf

You’re invited to observe the winter solstice sunrise on December 21, 2023, at 7:25 a.m. at the Vale Perkins wharf.

Then, at around 8 a.m., we’ll head to Destination Owl’s Head for breakfast in the ski chalet cafeteria. A reservation from participants is required before December 18.

Please note that the cost of the meal is your responsibility.

Each year, with the support of its members and partners, the Potton Heritage Association is able to expand its reach in our community and beyond.

We thank the Townshippers’ Foundation, recipient of a generous bequest from
Mrs. Lorraine Le Bar, for the grant of $10,000 we received on November 14.

Our President, Lorraine Rouillard (first row, centre),
accepted the grant on behalf of our Association.

Funds will allow us to produce a second BaladoDiscovery tour that will focus on the development of tourism in the Potton township since the 19th century.
