Trails of the Green Mountains Reserve, Singer sector

The Green Mountains Reserve is one of the largest protected private lands in Quebec; the Mount Singer trails are home to us, almost at the end of Ruiter Brook Road. From the Mansonville village, take West Hill road to its end and then turn right on Ruiter Brook road. The parking lot and the start of the trails will be on the left (approximately 900 meters).

Meet at this parking lot at 9:50 a.m. to start on time.

If the weather is too cold and windy, the excursion will be cancelled. In case of cancellation, you will be notified only if you have registered in advance.

Trails at the base of Owl’s Head Mountain

On the west side of the ski mountain, in the woods, there are several trails that form a loop of about 3 km. The terrain is easy especially with snowshoes but can be rough at times. Count on 1h30 to 2h.

Meet in the parking lot of the ski center: keep completely to the right as you enter, go to the end of the parking – when there, you should see the quad chairlift. Please be there at 9:50 am for a prompt start.

After the walk in the forest, you are invited to share a snack of soup and bread offered by your hosts, Edith and Christian Smeesters but bring your refreshments.

Cost : $5 per person (maximum: 25 people).

Location: 3 Maurice Côté Road, by Owl’s Head Road.

If the weather is too cold and windy, the excursion will be cancelled. In case of cancellation, you will be notified only if you have registered in advance.

It is important to make a reservation!
(also, for your presence at your hosts)
