Trails at the base of Owl’s Head Mountain

On the west side of the ski mountain, in the woods, there are several trails that form a loop of about 3 km. The terrain is easy especially with snowshoes but can be rough at times. Count on 1h30 to 2h.

Meet in the parking lot of the ski center: keep completely to the right as you enter, go to the end of the parking – when there, you should see the quad chairlift. Please be there at 9:50 am for a prompt start.

After the walk in the forest, you are invited to share a snack of soup and bread offered by your hosts, Edith and Christian Smeesters but bring your refreshments.

Cost : $5 per person (maximum: 25 people).

Location: 3 Maurice Côté Road, by Owl’s Head Road.

If the weather is too cold and windy, the excursion will be cancelled. In case of cancellation, you will be notified only if you have registered in advance.

It is important to make a reservation!
(also, for your presence at your hosts)

Located at 418 Leadville Road, the family property encompasses 500 acres, with a variety of trees and several bodies of water. Although there is some relief, this excursion is not very difficult.

You are invited, after the walk in the forest, to share a soup prepared by your hosts, Karsten and Béatrice, but bring your complement of snacks and your refreshments.

If the weather is too cold and windy, the excursion will be cancelled. In case of cancellation, you will be notified only if you have registered in advance.
