marcheSaturday, June 2nd, 1:30 pm

Walk on scenic Chemin du Monastère starting at Chemin de l’Aéroport, to arrive at Holy Transfiguration Russian Orthodox Monastery and cemetery. Guided visit of the interior of the monastery and the cemetery. The brochures “Russian Monastery” and “Potton’s Cemeteries” give detailed description of the Russian place of worship and burial sight. Meeting at the intersection of Airport Road and Monastery Road. If you do not wish to walk you may arrive and wait at the Monastery at 2 pm. Following there will be a BBQ at Carol’s place, 52 Hilmar-Krausser. Cost $10, bring your own beverage. Reservations with Carol 450-292-4844 before the 26th of May.

marcheSaturday, June 16th, 10 am

Walk on Chemin White; meeting at the corner of Westhill. John White, ancestor of this family will inform us on the first settlers on this road. Following there will be a visit to the Mansonville Market and then lunch at the restaurant Bistro Chouette.

Visit the Heritage Booth at the Festival of Potton. Enter our photography contest – “Water in Potton” [Check for contest rules].

eauSaturday August 18th Sunday August 19th, 10 am

Enjoy a summer day by the pool and pond or a walk on the grounds at Thérèse’s and Jean-Louis’s home. Address: 70 Chemin Schoolcraft. There is a possibility of picking mushrooms at your own discretion and if you choose to do so bring a container. Bring your lunch and beverage, a chair and your bathing suit . If you wish to make a donation to the Potton Heritage Association feel free to do so. Reservations: Janine 450-292-3780.

eauSaturday September 1st, 1 pm

One of our most popular events… our corn roast on the shores of Lake Memphremagog, at the Municipal beach at Perkins Landing.  Bring a salad or dessert to share. Bring your own beverage and water, if desired, along with your place setting and glass. Reservations are required for menu coordination. Call Janine at 450-292-3780.

marcheSaturday, October 13th, 10 am

Louise Gratton, M.Sc., consultant on ecology will guide us on a walk in the forest and teach us about the benefits to our bodies and brain as we breathe in the elements that trees give off in the air. Meet at 418 Chemin de Leadville (home of Beatrice and Karsten). Bring your lunch and beverage. Reservations with Carol 450-292-4844 .
