Our Association made its wish to protect the Border Covered Bridge (Pont de la Frontière) at a private hearing with the Commission du Patrimoine et de la Culture du Québec on January 10.

It could take up to a year for the bridge to be classified as a historic monument. In the meantime, we are continuing to follow up the situation with the various authorities concerned.

To this end, we would like to know if there is a notary or lawyer in our community who would be willing to “Pro Bono” help us clarify certain legal issues.
