Tuesday May 15th<\/sup>, 10:00 a.m.<\/span>: Guided walk through the \u201cMarais de la rivi\u00e8re-aux-cerises\u201d (Magog). <\/strong>Meet <\/strong>at 9:30 a.m. at Jewett\u2019s Store in Vale Perkins for carpooling, or meet at the Marsh Interpretation Center at 10:00 a.m. (69, chemin Roy, Magog). Friday June 1st<\/sup>, 9:30 a.m.<\/span>: Excursion to Mount Singer.<\/strong> Intermediate to difficult (walk of 4-5 h).\u00a0Meet in the parking lot of the Green Mountains Nature Reserve at the end of Ruiter Brook road.\u00a0Contact: Frank Ruiz : (450) 292-3542<\/p>\n

Sunday June 17th, 2 p.m.<\/span>: Easy walk<\/strong> (a little difficult in the beginning) on an old trail across Clark’s hil<\/strong>l. Also visiting Chapel Hill cemetery<\/strong>. Saturday June 23rd<\/sup>, 9:30 a.m<\/span>.: Discover Potton\u2019s wonderful landscapes by kayaking on the Missisquoi river<\/strong>. Kayak rental by Kayak et Co (450) 538-4052 (25-35$). Reserve kayak early!\u00a0Meet at the first boat launch just after the village on Route 243. Contact: Edith Smeesters (450) 292-0547<\/p>\n

POSTPONED TO ANOTHER DATE TO COME<\/span> Saturday and Sunday, July 14th & 15th<\/del><\/span>: \u00a0Centenary of Mansonville\u2019s Round Barn<\/strong>. Celebration of the 100th year of the barn, built for Robert J. Jersey in1912, will take place at the new Place de la Grange. Programme will follow in mid-June.<\/p>\n

Wednesday July 25th<\/sup>, 9:30 a.m.<\/span>: Excursion on the Missisquoi-Nord trails in Eastman.\u00a0<\/strong>Intermediate walk. Meet at the corner of Westhill and Route 243 for carpooling.\u00a0Contact\u00a0: Frank Ruiz (450) 292-3542<\/p>\n

Saturday August 11th<\/sup> starting at 9 a.m.<\/span>:\u00a0Potton Multicultural Festival<\/strong>. The Heritage Association will be in the parade, have a booth, as well as display entries in the Photo contest.\u00a0 The theme this year: \u201cPotton in Winter\u201d showing our natural, cultural, landscape, architectural or archaeological heritage. Saturday August 25th<\/sup>, 10:00 a.m.<\/span>: Visit to the new trail leading down the covered bridge.<\/strong> After we\u2019ll tour the constructed wetlands used to purify the sour water from Potton’s old dumpsite. Meet at the corner of Province Hill & Bellevue. We\u2019ll then come back to the village around noon for lunch and join the concert at Place Manson.\u00a0 (Bring your own lunch)\u00a0 Contact: Edith Smeesters (450) 292-0547<\/p>\n

Sunday September 9th<\/sup>, 1:30 p.m<\/span>.: Corn roast and late lunch at the Vale Perkins beach. <\/strong>Bring a salad or dessert and your wine. Reserve before September 1st<\/sup> with Carol Bishop (450) 292-4844.<\/p>\n
