Saturday, November 12th<\/sup>, 1 p.m. [ADDENDUM]<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Field trip to the sites of the former and present covered bridges of Potton and North Troy. Sandra Jewett, president of the Potton Heritage Association, will tell us about the history of the bridges. Jean-Louis Bertrand, author of the booklet The Covered Bridges of Potton,<\/em> and Hans Walser, co-director of the exhibition The Covered Bridges of the Eastern Townships,<\/em> will inform us of the structure of covered bridges and the notable characteristics of the pont de la Fronti\u00e8re which is cited officially as a historical monument.<\/p>\n

Dont forget to bring your passport.

Owl\u2019s Head Autumnfest Outdoor Festival. Hike on the mountain to discover the magnificent colors of the season. Chairlift will be in operation and free of charge for ski pass holders. Have lunch at our canteen<\/a> organized and operated by volunteers from the Potton Heritage Association and the Ken Jones Centre, as our major fund raising activity. Profits are shared equally. We thank Mr. & Mrs. Korman for their generous support.<\/p>\n

\nThe Potton Cultural and Heritage Committee invites the public to participate in Cultural Days<\/a> to be held on September 30th<\/sup>, October 1st<\/sup> and 2nd<\/sup>. Many activities are planned: exhibitions, concerts, outdoor activities and music at the Owl’s Head and the inauguration of the winning sculpture for “Nesting in Potton” (Mon nid \u00e0 Potton<\/em>). Ceremony to award the Cultural and Heritage prize, Launch of Incomparable Potton<\/a>, etc.<\/p>\n
