\nOur President, Sandra Jewett, will present a talk entitled \u201cA Community in Distress – The Typhoid Epidemic of 1923\u201d, an event in which 205 citizens were afflicted and sixteen died. Presentation in French; however questions will be answered in French and in English. A light lunch will follow the lecture. Free admission. For information call Janine 450-292-3780.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Saturday, June 11th<\/sup>, 2 pm [Please note the time in afternoon]<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nGuided visit to Miltimore cemetery at the corner of Miltimore Road and Route 243<\/a> South; then a walk to Chapel Hill cemetery. The history of the people who lived in that area will be told by Sandra Jewett. Following there will be a BBQ at Carol’s place, 52 Hilmar-Krausser. Cost $10, bring your own beverage. Possibility of picnicking on site, so bring your lunch. Entrance fee of $ 8. Meet in the parking lot<\/a> in Mansonville, near the CIBC, for car pool.
